Spring Fling 2012

Spring Fling 2012

You may all remember Spring Fling, an event I told you about a year ago. It is a fundraiser my family started 11 years ago to raise money for JDRF in hopes of finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Now, you may notice it says 2012 up there in the top. Yes, these are from last year. I never published them, and now that Spring Fling 2013 has also come and gone and I’m preparing to publish that, I thought it might finally be time to get to 2012. It was a fabulous year, and I hope you all enjoy the photos from the Golf, Luncheon, and Evening Bash!

The Boutique-vendors from all over the Bay Area came and brought everything from bicycles to chocolate to toothbrushes to candles and agreed to give a percentage of their profit to JDRF. Luckily, there was no shortage of Ladies who love to shop.

If you bought a raffle ticket, you then got to pop a balloon to see if you won. Sadly, the balloons were sold out by the time they got to my table.

Evening Bash!
First, we had an impromptu photoshoot in our room. The boys looked quite dapper, it was hard to resist snapping away. We all went for a colorfull, bold look this year, as you can probably tell.

This year we had a set of twins, Shelby and Sydney Payne, both of whom play soccer for Stanford, and only one of whom is diabetic, as our speakers.

What Jack Wore: SF

You may remember how our family spent some time in San Francisco a weekend or two ago. We had the glorious weather and went to the farmers market and did other, San-Francisco-y things? Yes, remember? good. So here is what Jack wore while doing all of that, some of it begrudgingly, but he’s a good sport. And the Almond Toffee we got at the Farmer’s Market made up for that.
